WHY GET INVOLVED?

At Families Need Families we recognize that the current state of our immigration policy is in dire need of reform. Our volunteers come from diverse political backgrounds with different viewpoints on how to best solve this crisis. Nevertheless, we all recognize that since these families are here living in our community helping them succeed is in everyone's best interest. Also, we all believe that helping mothers and children who are in need is always the right thing to do.

 

Research has shown that helping and serving others provides physical and mental benefits to those who volunteer.  Because there are limited opportunities for young adults to volunteer and gain these benefits, Families Need Families help bridge this gap and provide opportunities for young adults to help others with their parents. Also doing this charitable work as a family builds family values and bonds.
